I admit, I can be a bit of a skincare snob sometimes. I love highstreet makeup but have not been able to find lots of skincare products on there that have absolutely blown me away. Or at least that’s what it used to be like. Now I have to eat my words and admit that the higshtreet beauty brands are getting better and better and quite a few products made it into my collection and favourites.
My latest discovery is Una Brennan’s Superfacialist range in Boots. I have picked up the Pore Purifying Clay Mask from the Tea Flower range and I have to say I am very, very impressed! I’ve always used clay based masks as my skin is oily / combination and also prone to some acne. So you see I need a deep clean every now and then BUT what I found with a lot of other clay masks is that they work perfectly on the oily part of my face but completely dry up the rest of it and make my skin feel tight and uncomfortable.
This mask promises purifying benefits as well as hydrating action from the Avocado oil rich in Vitamins A, D and E and Acacia Honey.
You only need to put it on for about 5 minutes, it will dry on your skin and then take it off with a hot wash cloth. My skin feels super clean and detoxed but not tight or dry – which is absolutely perfect!
It is a very affordable mask for the quality you get – I bought mine for €10.99 in Boots.
I will definitely be trying more of the products form Una Brennan! Have you tried any?
